Skiathos, Greece

Skiathos is a small island in the north-eastern Aegean Sea. It is about 12 nautical miles from the mainland of Greece and is part of the Thessaly region. The island has a population of about 5,000 people. The island is mostly mountainous and has a few forests. The highest point on the island is Mount Elias, which is about 1,000 meters high. The island has many beaches, including Lalaria, Megali Ammos, and Banana Beach. Skiathos is a popular tourist destination, especially for people from the UK, Germany, and Holland.
